Prana flow yoga

Vinyasa is all about continuous movement and breath. This style of yoga is often dynamic, which requires the mind to stay focused in the present to be able to keep up. Classes of 75 minutes are held on a weekly basis on Tuesdays from 20.00 pm in our studio located in Hart van Hoograven. Join the Tuesday evening class.


We intent to share yoga, inspire awareness and unity of breath and movement.

A class with Jiva is a journey of discovery. There is a clear structure of the class. This is not communicated explicitly with words but it is there to be experienced. There is a strong focus on meditation and mindfulness. Starting with calming the mind and bringing it to one focus point, we work with the breath and bandha’s – energy locks, to guide the Prana – life force. There is plenty of space for becoming mindful in what you are asked to do. Mindfully moving, breathing and becoming skillful in synchronizing the breath and movement – this is the first learning goal. But, don’t expect a quiet form of yoga. There is a strong focus on dynamics and the whole body is awakened. After the class you feel energized but yet deeply relaxed.

Ashtanga yoga

The breath, along with the movement and bandhas, helps to create internal heat in the body which improves circulation and detoxifies the system. Classes of 90 minutes are held on a weekly basis on Sundays from 10.30 am in our studio located in Hart van Hoograven. The classes are an invitation to breathe more fully and love more deeply.
